I needed to find a mold inspector in one day. Extremely understanding and thorough. It was evident that he has the expertise and was able to detect that the mold had traveled through the air vents and was pervasive throughout the second level of the house. This exact issue was overlooked by two other inspectors, further proof that Bob knows what he’s doing. I HIGHLY recommend Bob. When it comes to mold, you want the job done RIGHT and he is extremely thorough and meticulous about making sure the problem is completely resolved.

Voted by Knoxville's happiest mold inspection clients a "Knoxville Best" businesses in 2016.

Voted Knoxvilles Best Indoor Air Quality Inspector by our customers 2016

Voted Knoxvilles Best

Our inspector clearly explained his approach to inspecting and testing our indoor air quality and employee health concerns. Bob has the tools…..Infrared Thermal Imaging and moisture meters isolated a water leak we were unaware of that was causing toxic mold growth.

I have consulted with Bob Byrne (Volunteer Inspections) on dozens of residential and commercial mold problems I have encountered in my consulting engineering practice.

he has expertise in all aspects of mold causes and cures and practical solutions to problems. Everyone I have referred him to has been very happy with his work.

Early in 2014 we were looking for a new facility to expand our manufacturing foot print. We contacted Bob Byrne at Volunteer Inspections, LLC and asked if he could perform an inspection of the property and make recommendations for what work that would be necessary to make the facility useful for manufacturing and office personnel. Bob was very prompt with his response, he initially prepared a proposal for the work complete with a cost estimate.

Once we reviewed the proposal we contacted Bob and asked him to perform the review of the property. He came to the site and was extremely thorough and within a week to ten days we had a comprehensive report that covered the facility from top to bottom and wall to wall. Based on his recommendations we moved forward with the work which got the facility ready for occupancy. When there were areas that were out of his expertise Bob was very helpful in providing names of other contractors that would be able to help us take care of the specific area.

All in all working with Bob was a professional and pleasurable experience and I would not hesitate to contact him for work in the future.

Volunteer Inspections did an excellent job in meeting our needs. The report was delivered quickly once all the testing was finished and Bob took the time to answer all of our questions and made certain we fully understood the answers he provided. I would highly recommend Volunteer Inspections.

For more than 10-years Bob (Volunteer Inspections) provided us with inspection services on our rental property and our home, always exceeding our expectations. The services included building inspection, mold inspection, and infrared thermography. Reports were always provided in a timely manner and Bob made sure we understood the reports and were satisfied with his services. With good conscience we can recommend Volunteer Inspections LLC because they are worthy of a 5-star rating.

We had a question about possible mold build up in our basement. Volunteer Inspections came out and we met Bob Byrne. We found him to be very knowledgeable, very professional, and informative. We wound up not having a major issue and he informed us that we could easily eliminate the concerns ourselves. He ran some tests for us and advised us on how to handle the CO2 build up in our basement.

We would definitely recommend him and would use him again in the future.
